Merry Christmas from The Butchershop

December madness has kicked in at Butchershop HQ with our festive menu in full flow and available right up until Christmas Eve. Slow roasted free range turkey with homemade sage and onion stuffing and our hazelnut and parmesan crusted coley fillet are our customer festive favourites so far! You can view our full menu here.

We’ve also got the perfect Christmassy indulgence for two – a bottle of the Royal Tokaji Blue label flagship wine, a sumptuous apricot and orange flavoured digestif to complement one of our fabulous desserts. We recommend our selection of fine cheeses from Ian Mellis the cheesemonger… Merry Cheesemas!

Did we mention that our cocktail list has been updated? The addition of some winter warmer cocktails including the Cinnematation with plantation rum, oranges and cinnamon, the aptly-named White Nutted Russian or how about the Tequila Mockingbird for the more daring tastebuds have all been added to our cocktail list to tempt you over the season. What will you choose? We love ‘em all.

Hogmanay and New Year’s Day in Glasgow

It’s not long until our Hogamany Feast of Meats party and we’re just a little bit excited. It’s always an amazing evening and we can’t wait to welcome you with five courses of meat heaven and see the New Year in with a bang!

And the following afternoon we are open all day from 12.30pm on New Year’s Day in Glasgow with a fabulous New Year’s Day 2014 lunch roast extravaganza. You’ll be able to choose from three roast options to start the New Year on a food high and possibly cure any almighty hangovers from the night before…

PS. Just in case you haven’t thought about presents yet, our gift vouchers are available to purchase online, and from The Butchershop right up to Christmas Eve. Sorted.

Whatever you do over the festive season have a magical Christmas and a memorable New Year.
