Very near to the University of Glasgow, we are in the prime location to saunter along after your special ceremony to celebrate with a graduation lunch or dinner and a glass of fizz to toast your hard work. If you’re lucky enough the sun may stay out to have a feast on our decking or perhaps more likely is sitting in our comfortable interior if the torrential rain keeps up! The graduation menu for this year has been specially selected by our chefs to get you in the celebratory mood. You can start leisurely with our fresh salad frizze aux lardoons, which comes with the freshest and tastiest of Stornoway black pudding and poached hen egg. And if that’s not appealing enough our lightly crisped braised oxtail with buttered spinach and celeriac puree with certainly get your juices flowing! The menu is available from 12pm until 10pm most days and boasts mains including our popular grilled sea bream with crushed rosevale potatoes, sautéed green beans with crispy fried prawns in a lemon butter sauce, and a traditional 8oz 28 day dry aged Scottish rump steak – from our fourth generation farmer no less – and served with crispy hand cut fries and a side of peppercorn sauce. Desserts are always set to tempt you and the smell of our sticky toffee pudding with vanilla ice-cream and a warm toffee sauce is alluring enough but tastes spiffing with a glass of the chilean Anekena Ekena Late Harvest port or one of our tempting aperitif cocktails!
